Field and regional scale exploration-development geologist, reservoir geology and characterization, source rock geochemistry and petroleum system, prospect generator, integrated field studies and full field review, estimation of reserves, some basic sedimentology elements and detailed formation correlation using sequence/subsequence stratigrapfy elements, working experience with reservoir engineers on well completion & recompletion. Experience in fractured reservoirs, clastic, tight gas and oil/gas shale (USA Experience), etc.
|
Profile: |
I am a geologist with domestic and international working experience in different geological basins from Europe to Middle East, USA, Asia, to South America, North and West Africa. My expertise consists on exploration, development and production for regional and field scale studies in fractured carbonate as well as in clastics, unconventional oil/gas shale and tight gas reservoirs. I have performed numerous integrated prospect generation studies for each of these reservoirs, based on detailed formation-reservoir correlation from well logs including FMI, according to stratigraphy sequences and subsequences while correcting those with seismic survey and cores. I have generated different maps for each formation and structural/stratigraphic cross-sections. I have interpreted structural-tectonic elements and their influence on reservoir geology and reservoir properties. I described core-cuttings, sidewall cores and several carbonate outcrops and integrated FMI data to cores and gas shows. I interpreted reservoir properties from well logs, and natural fracture systems based on experience and FMI logs, analyzed geochemistry of source rock, its maturity, and petroleum system.
I have applied for the first-time mud log gas show composition to identify natural fractures in borehole and worked with reservoir engineers on completion of horizontal wells and hydraulic fracturing based on reservoir geology, natural fracture systems, and micro-seismic data for the distance between wells.
I interpreted different variables: density of natural fractures vs EUR, mud log gas shows composition vs EUR, estimated OIP for conventional reservoirs, tight gas reservoirs, and unconventional oil/gas shale based on geochemistry data and Élan interpretation data, interpreted and mapped testing data, IP and other production data. Based on integration between geology and some seismic data I have generated several prospect areas and proposed numerous horizontal and vertical wells for drilling in different geological basins and for different reservoir-formations. I prepared several different regional and field scale presentations.
