+ 10 years as a Petrophysicist engineer in the Direction of Petroleum Engineering and Development. I started in 2010 as a junior engineer in petrophysics.
My mission was to monitor and inspect the well-log recording process and provide quick look interpretation. After a year I joined the Petrophysics Department within the Petroleum Engineering and Development Division as a Petrophysicist engineer. My interest was to analyze all the well recordings and to follow all the petrophysical studies of the Hassi Messaoud field and the periphery with the consultants within the framework of the constructions of the static models in dynamic of the different reservoirs such as the Cambrian Ordovician reservoir and Triassic.
Five years late of continuous work, I was promoted to senior Petrophysicist where I was limited only to teaching and training new engineers and university students.
In 2020, I prepared for my Ph.D. and follow my experience in petrophysics. The Faculty of Earth Sciences asked me to join the Geophysics Department as a contract teacher for the Master Reservoir Specialty while preserving my role as a senior petrophysical engineer.

Profile: |
I am a Petroleum Engineer (Snr Petrophysicist) seeking new opportunities. I have over 27 years varied international petroleum G&G experience from the main global petroleum basins (Niger Delta, GOM, Borneo Basin, UKCS, Arabian Penisular).
I am a Snr Petrophysicist consultant capable of performing a wide range of Petrophysical roles ranging integrated Petrophysics studies for Field Development Planning, well planning, strategic data acquisition/interpretation for exploration, development, WRM and surveillance, in a wide range of well types and geological basins. I am hands on in the office (Studies: FDP reporting, Petrophysical Property determination, upscaling and distribution into the Petrel static model}.
Also I am hands-on at the well site (Operations: deployment and supervision of well program vendors for mud logging, WL/LWD logging, drilling monitoring, Geosteering, coring, cementing, casing, driiling engineering and well monitoring, landing horizontal sections, End of well Reporting, perforation/completion and well hookup). Ensuring callout of logging vendor crews to safely carry out their services as per strict HSSE well program; and relaying daily drilling progress to asset Drilling Engr/Ops Geologist/Subsurface team. Another big aspect of my role is ensuring data integrity and QAQC and delivery of high quality log/Reservoir Engineering/Geological data is delivered in standard field/hardcopy and digital data formats and maintaining log inventory, upload and custodian of the RECALL corporate databases. Attending and ranking data vendors (SQM) and signing of their field tickets, reviewing logging contracts and vendor performance is also another key role within my sphere of expertise.
Having worked in a variety of geological basins (UKCS, GOM, ND, Borneo and recently MENA for last 10 years) I have a balanced view of siliclastics and complex carbonate reservoirs which characterize the Middle East. I have built good relationships with my service company vendor contacts; understand the main hydrocarbon plays and am familiar with the main producing reservoirs in the GCC region.
Lastly I am open to remote opportunities, as I have a valid fill Petrophysical package of Techlog on my laptop and I am open to fixed contract or competitive day rate terms.
