Educating employees in safe work practices, actively participating in the development of safe work practices procedures, incident reporting to regulatory agencies, tracking incident and injury trends, performing site orientations for all new employees, editing and updating as required the company safety manual/procedures, working closely with the management team to improve upon the companies’ safety performance. Leading the safety committee and staff meetings are all duties that are within the portfolio of the HSE manager.
