URGENT Working Smart established in 1996, is a leading recruitment provider to the Oil and Gas industry worldwide. Due to increase in business growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic individual for the position of Recruitment Administrator to support our Recruitment Team and undertake general administration tasks.

With a fully integrated recruitment software system, which streamlines the administration and recruitment process, this role is relatively straightforward for someone with excellent communication skills, who is methodical and computer literate.

The role offers a great deal of variety working in a friendly working environment. Full training in the recruitment software system and administration processes will be provided.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the Recruitment Consultants, you will undertake tasks relating to the researching of companies; managing advertising channels such as social media sites; co-ordinating interviews between clients and candidates; responding to and managing electronic correspondence; general database maintenance; posting job adverts to relevant websites and other related office/recruitment administration tasks.
Preferences: The successful candidate:
  • Organised individual – highly customer focused
  • Excellent verbal communication skills – will be talking with clients and candidates etc.
  • Previous experience or understanding of the Oil and Gas industry advantageous and may provide a pathway to develop into a Recruitment Consultant.
  • Previous experience of working in an office environment highly desired but the key is the ability to undertake the role effectively and the desire to do so.
  • Essential to be computer literate, with a good knowledge of the Internet, and MS Office and Email systems (preferably MS Outlook) essential.
  • Previous client facing experience such as sales, customer service roles advantageous.
  • Excellent communications skills essential, as you will be required to talk with candidates and potentially clients, answer phone, and deal with general enquiries.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be methodical in work practices essential.
  • Must understand the importance of delivering good service both internally and externally to client’s essential.
  • Strong sense of accountability – can take ownership of tasks and deliver results on time and in a professional manner.
  • High level of typing competency essential - touch typing skills highly desired.
  • Proven experience working with databases advantageous.
  • Previous experience of researching information and/or recruitment experience highly advantageous.
