n behalf of our Energy Client who is also a leading provider of information to the global Defence, Power, and the Automotive Industries we seek a Sales Executive (销售主管) to develop strong revenue growth initiatives for their full range of Automotive products. You will be responsible for developing and expanding the Company’s Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and National Sales Company (NSC) Business Unit. Applicants are invited with a degree in Science, Engineering or Automotive related fields combined with a minimum of 6 years sales experience from within the automotive industry.

The National Sales Company Business Unit has real-time sales activity data that can be viewed at the national, regional, dealership, and even individual salesperson levels. This visibility of dealership network activity, effort, and skills is simply unprecedented in the automotive industry. Although the main focus of the role is to generate new business through the Supplier and OEM business, you will also be tasked with maintaining relationships with existing accounts.

Reporting to Automotive Sales Director, Greater China this role encompasses many functions including:
  • Become competent in the Company’s suite of solutions, services, work flows and practices.
  • Succeed in entrepreneurial, flexible and fast-paced constantly changing environment.
  • Establish and maintain executive level relationships in major functional areas of the Client’s organization.
  • Utilize relationships to develop strong revenue growth initiatives for all Auto products as well as retain the Company’s existing business within the account. The main focus of this position will be to generate new business through the Supplier and OEM business.
  • Follow and execute a structured solution sales process for revenue growth and prospecting. Uncover new revenue opportunities within an account based on the understanding of the worksflows and strategies being deployed within the account.
  • Develop knowledge and thorough understanding of all the Company’s products and services, and apply this knowledge to provide appropriate recommendations/solutions that meets Client’s business requirements.
  • Achieve net new revenue growth targets and maximize retention capabilities within your assigned accounts.
  • Introduce new Company products and services to your accounts. Generate and deliver compelling sales proposals to Clients.
  • Observe and understand Client workflows and processes, tailor solutions to enhance overall value to the Client’s organization.
  • Generate and identify potential new Clients. Understand the Client’s workflow to identify their needs.
  • Manage the renewal sales process for the existing Client base, including setting of expectations, changing needs assessments, negotiating contracts and processing of contracts via the relevant internal systems.
  • Prepare and execute a strategic account plan. Review with your Line Manager on a daily/monthly basis.
  • Follow up on all inbound client inquiries to uncover new and expanding opportunities within the Client base.
  • Maintain consistent and ongoing contact with end-users and decision makers.
  • Prospect, present to, and close on new sales opportunities within the Client base.
  • Accurately forecast expected sales and cancellations to your Line Manager on a daily/monthly basis.
  • Provide ongoing product feedback from Clients to your Line Manager and relevant Product Managers.
  • Maintain awareness of, and participate in all relevant training for, new products and capabilities, and market them to new and existing Clients.
The successful candidate will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or an Automotive related field essential. Any equivalent combination of experience and education could be considered.
  • A minimum of 6 years Sales/Business Development experience within the Automotive industry essential.
  • Strong account management skills essential.
  • Good strategist – able to put together business development plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive level clients and colleagues.
  • An enthusiastic problem solver and decision maker with strong collaboration and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and keep focused on their ultimate objectives.
  • Results orientated.
  • Self-driven with the motivation to improve and learn new things.
  • Track record of leading initiatives and transformation efforts that evolve the company to a customer, workflow and value driven orientation. The ability to understand the Client’s values and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the key business drivers of the customer and can articulate how the automotive portfolio can meet the customer’s needs.
  • Native Mandarin and fluency in English essential.
  • Ability to travel domestic mainly and overseas if necessary.
Other Information
Package: A Base Salary of CNY 240K plus incentives is on offer.
