Overview
URGENT: A large Oil and Gas Operator seeks a Programme Manager to manage the setup and delivery of a Treasury project. You will be responsible for engaging key Finance stakeholders at the highest level to ensure that expectations are managed and that the aims of the project are aligned with business needs and strategies as they evolve. Applicants invited with a minimum of 8 years Project/Programme Management experience within a Corporate Treasury or Finance related domain.
 
Responsibilities
Responsibilities: This role encompasses many functions including:
  • Driving the setup of the project; including platform and delivery partner selection and work with the Company’s key application suppliers.
  • Mobilising the project, including defining the delivery model, identifying and on-boarding staff and contract resources as required.
  • Engaging key Finance stakeholders at the highest level to ensure that expectations are managed and that the aims of the project continue to be aligned with business needs and strategies as they evolve.
  • Actively represents the project team, ensuring that effective relationships are built and maintained with the stakeholders including FIS and T-Systems project teams.
  • Planning and managing the solution delivery, managing budget, risks, issues and quality and managing the project interfaces (both technical and organisational) to ensure project meets the business objectives.
  • Providing effective leadership to the project team allocating and monitoring tasks and ensuring adherence to Project Excellence standards and processes. Ensures that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience.
  • Managing business engagement and planning (including scheduling project governance meetings and decisions required, managing business dependencies, align stakeholder expectations and guide them on what’s needed from them).
 
Preferences
Preferences: The successful candidate will have:
  • A minimum of 8 years of Project/Program Management Experience in Corporate Treasury or Finance related domain essential. There is a preference for candidates with Agile or DevOps experience.
  • Experience of Treasury Front-to-Back organization and processes, including exposure to financial OTC derivatives and financial regulations.
  • Experience of financial platforms such as FIS Quantum, SWIFT, Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters etc.
  • Strong planning, communication and presentation skills and proficient in project quality management essential.
  • The ability to work with cross functional and global teams in a large, complex, dynamic and global company.
  • Ability to engage with a large number of stakeholders across the enterprise to drive toward consensus
  • Highly motivated individual who can manage their projects and deliver to tight project deadlines.
  • Highly analytical/methodical – the ability to understand the problem, the tools available and to deliver the solution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – the ability to interact effectively across all stakeholders.
  • Excellent communications skills essential (both written and oral English), with the ability to present findings.
